Two men have been arrested for allegedly shooting a man during a drug deal on Monday.
Police were call to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital shortly before midnight on Monday after a man walked into the emergency room and was admitted for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and head, according to a statement from the Fairbanks Police Department.
The victim told investigators he had been shot during a marijuana sale at the Hamilton Acres snow dump, according to FPD.
FPD detectives arrested two men — 20-year-old Timothy Kowchee and 19-year-old Joshua Ramos — Thursday evening. Both are being held at the Fairbanks Correctional Center under charges of first-degree attempted murder and first-degree robbery.
