A pizza delivery driver was allegedly robbed by men with weapons Thursday morning, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
Now, APD is asking for the public’s help locating the three robbery suspects.
It was reported to police that just before 11 a.m., a delivery driver was called to deliver pizzas in the area of Northwood Street and Strawberry Road. When the driver arrived and exited the vehicle, he was approached by three tall, thin males who wore ski masks.
“Each one was armed with a weapon including a gun, knife and bat,” APD said of the suspects. “The robbers stole money from the driver and took the pizzas.”
Police say the suspects stole money from the driver and took the pizzas — then fled the area heading east on W. 80th in a black, “boxy” SUV.
“It was reported that the suspect vehicle ran over some small trees and could have some front end damage to it,” an APD release says.
