Anchorage police are responding to a report of a robbery at Money Mart, located at 6311 Debarr Rd.
APD sent out an announcement of the robbery just after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
APD says there are no known injuries at this time but have noted there is a heavy police in the area.
An employee at the scene told KTVA shots were fired, but no money was taken. The employees went into the safe room until police arrived.
