The Federal Bureau of Investigation Anchorage Division is searching for a man who robbed a credit union Thursday afternoon, according to a release issued Friday.
Police said the man entered the Northern Skies Credit Union located at 400 W. Benson Blvd. shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday, pulled out a small gun and demanded cash from two tellers. He left shortly after with an unknown amount of cash.
The man was reportedly wearing a hoodie, jeans, face mask and gloves. He’s described by police as being 5 foot 8, and between 250 and 300 pounds.
