An Anchorage doctor has been arrested on multiple charges related to child exploitation and distribution of child pornography, according to a release from the Anchorage Police Department. Police said it is possible he has additional victims, and some may live outside of Alaska.
Online court records show police arrested 31-year-old Jesse Lee Webb on Thursday and charged him with six counts of unlawful exploitation of a minor by making child pornography and a single count each of distributing child pornography and online enticement of a minor.
“In June 2016 during an investigation conducted by the Anchorage Police Department’s Cyber Crimes Unit, it was discovered that Dr. Webb had engaged in communications that constituted Child Sexual Exploitation,” police said in a statement. “Working in conjunction with the Indiana Crimes Against Children Unit, investigators were able to locate and identify a victim who reported that she had been communicating online with Dr. Webb since age 15.”
The victim also said Webb sent her multiple images and videos of a sexual nature.
Police said they are attempting to identify other potential victims. Anyone who believes they have been victimized by Webb or has information about a potential victim is asked to call Anchorage Det. Monique Doll at 907-786-8900 and refer to case number 16-23010.
