The Anchorage Police Department is looking to the public for assistance in its investigation into an early Sunday morning shooting S Tahiti Loop.
Just after 5 a.m., someone called police to report shots had been fired on the 5800 block of S Tahiti Loop, according to a statement from police.
Police found multiple shell casings in the roadway, as well as a single hole in the back of a pickup truck parked in the driveway of a home, according to the statement. Police also found several bullet holes on the east side of that home.
According to police, four people were asleep inside the home during the shooting, but were unharmed.
“No suspect information is available at this time,” police wrote.
Police are asking anyone with surveillance cameras in the area that may have footage helpful to their investigation to call 907-786-8900.
