Alaska State Troopers say a man set a bedroom on fire in a Wasilla home Tuesday night.
Troopers arrested the man, 20-year-old Mose Falaniko, at the home on W. Hoot Hollow Circle. They first responded to the home when someone reported a disturbance at 10:19 p.m., according to an online dispatch.
Falaniko allegedly assaulted family members and then started a fire in a bedroom, troopers wrote.
Falaniko already had a warrant for his arrest for violating his probation in an unrelated burglary case, troopers said. They charged him with first-degree arson, fourth-degree domestic violence-related assault and fifth-degree criminal mischief.
He is being held without bail at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, troopers said.
