Anchorage police say they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon. A suspect has been taken into custody, police said.
In a statement, police said they found a deceased male when they responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 74th Avenue and Old Seward Highway just after 3 p.m.
Less than 20 minutes later, police located a suspect and took them into custody, the statement explained.
No further information was immediately available.
