A 19-year-old has been identified by the Anchorage Police Department as one of two men shot Tuesday morning off of Muldoon Road.
Two men were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds after police responded to the parking lot of a Brown Jug liquor store on Muldoon Road. Tiwan Marquis Johnson Jr. was pronounced dead a short time later, APD stated Wednesday. The other man’s injuries were not life-threatening.
In a Wednesday release, police said there were several people present during the shooting though it is not known how many were involved in the crime. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the event or who has information about incident to contact police at 907-786-8900 or through Anchorage Crime Stoppers.
