Shortly before 10:30 a.m. the Fairbanks Police Department took Joseph Vance Arabie into custody. No other additional details were provided.

The Fairbanks Police Department (FPD) is searching for the suspect in a murder case, who the agency said is “considered armed and dangerous.”
Twenty-nine-year-old Joseph Vance Arabie is a suspect in the slaying of Carlos Zuniga, 47.
According to police, they responded to a report of shots fired on College Road, near Creamer’s Field, around 11:30 p.m., Thursday. Responding officers found Zuniga critically injured, and attempted first aid, before first responders pronounced him dead.
Arabie is described as 6 feet and one inch tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The department is warning anyone who sees him not to approach him. He was last seen in south Fairbanks, FPD said.
