Anchorage police are investigating a shooting they say happened in midtown early Saturday morning.
APD says officers responded to a shooting at 1:56 a.m. Inside an apartment building located on the 5300 block of Mockingbird Dr., they found a 20-year-old female with a life-threatening gunshot wound. She is in critical condition at a local hospital.
22-year-old Joseph Lock of Anchorage was arrested on charges of assault in the first-degree.
