Anchorage Police are searching for a man they say robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint on Sunday.
The victim reported he’d been robbed in the 4400 block of San Ernesto Avenue, across from Williwaw Elementary School, just before 5 p.m. Sunday.
The victim said the two people who placed the order met him outside upon arrival. One person, who police identified as 24-year-old George Wong-Sin, threatened the driver with a gun and took the pizza, according to the victim’s report.
No one was injured, and police say Wong-Sin and the other suspect left the scene before officers arrived.
A warrant has been issued for first-degree robbery for Wong-Sin. Police describe him as having black hair and brown eyes, standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 210 pounds.
If you have any information on his whereabouts, you’re asked to call APD.
