An adult male was stabbed Wednesday night in the Walmart parking lot off A Street.
Anchorage Police were called to the scene around 10:40 Wednesday night, where they found the victim suffering a stab wound to the upper torso.
Authorities say the man was intoxicated, combative and very uncooperative, and police had to restrain the man so medical aid could be rendered. The man, who has not been identified, was later taken to the hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
APD says the man refused to identify the perpetrator. Witnesses told police the victim and the suspect got into a physical altercation, possibly over alcohol, and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
There have been no arrests made in the case, but it remains under active investigation.
