FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) – Alaska State Troopers are investigating the theft of 60 wooden shipping pallets near Fox.
Troopers say the pallets were taken from a trailer on a private property on the Old Steese Highway.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner (http://is.gd/nQJ9Jy) says the owner told troopers he was collecting the pallets to use as firewood.
The owner discovered the pallets missing Sunday and reported it to troopers, saying the pallets had been stolen in the previous 24 hours.
