ANCHORAGE – A man was hospitalized with life-threatening wounds Tuesday morning after a stabbing at an East Anchorage restaurant.
Anchorage Police Department dispatch received the call shortly before 7 a.m., and police said they responded to Peggy’s Restaurant on 5th Avenue to find the victim and the suspect, identified as 59-year-old Olin Anderson. The victim, who has not been identified, was driven to a local hospital in serious condition.
Anderson was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, and police said they’re still investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
