A Glennallen resident faces several charges of child sex abuse after turning himself in to Alaska State Troopers Wednesday evening.
According to an online AST dispatch posted Thursday morning, 61-year-old Kevin Talyat surrendered to troopers in Fairbanks after telling them he had sexually abused two children under the age of 12 on multiple occasions. One of the victims corroborated Talyat’s account during an initial interview, troopers said.
While the investigation is ongoing, AST said Talyat was arrested on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
