ANCHORAGE- Police were called to the same block on Thompson Avenue twice in one night for two different reasons.
The first time officers were responding to a disturbance call. That was just after midnight Tuesday.
About an hour later Anchorage Police were called back, according to police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro. The second call was for a shooting.
Castro says a neighbor looked out his front door and saw the man involved in the original disturbance call acting suspicious, so he fired a gun hitting the other man.
In a release from police the victim’s injuries are described as “life-threatening.”
Detectives are investigating. A suspect is in custody.
