Alaska State Troopers are investigating the stabbing of a St. Michael teen.
Nome troopers were alerted to the incident in the village of Stebbins on Tuesday afternoon, according to an online trooper dispatch.
The 19-year-old victim was treated at the local clinic for multiple stab wounds and then released, troopers said.
AST spokeswoman Megan Peters noted the victim was not fully cooperating with troopers, but their investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Rylan Snowball, a resident of Stebbins. He was taken to the Anvil Mountain Correction Center on the charges of first-degree assault, providing alcohol to a minor and selling alcohol in a dry area.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.
