Officials with the FBI and the Anchorage Police Department are investigating a robbery which took place around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at an Alaska USA Federal Credit Union branch.
Police received a report of the robbery at the 2600 Debarr Rd. location at around 10:40 a.m Wednesday, according to a release from APD.
The suspect — described as a 5-foot-7 white male, with a medium build in his mid-20′s — ran from the building with an unknown amount of cash, according to police.
“The robbery suspect left the bank on foot and headed southbound towards Airport Heights Elementary,” police wrote.
The same location was also robbed on Nov. 6 of this year. The suspect in that robbery has not been caught, according to FBI spokesperson Staci Feger-Pellessier.
