A dispute over a gun led to a stabbing Friday at a campsite near Wasilla.
Alaska State Troopers say 27-year-old Joseph Larocque is being held on suspicion of assault and weapons misconduct.
Troopers took a call on the stabbing just before 4 a.m. after the incident at Mile 16 Point Mackenzie Road.
Witnesses told troopers Larocque was drunk and holding a gun.
Troopers say that when 39-year-old Nathan Buck of Palmer took the gun away, Larocque stabbed him with a knife.
Buck was treated and released at the campsite.
Larocque is being held on $5,000 bail and Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility in Palmer.
