ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – A 42-year-old Nikiski man faces a felony charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after driving a snowmobile on the first day of summer.
Alaska State Troopers took a call of a disturbance Monday between two men in the Kenai Peninsula community.
Troopers say a man drove a snowmobile to a home, was told to leave and got into a fight.
Troopers took the snowmobile driver into custody on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, driving with a revoked license, driving in violation of a license limitation, criminal trespass and harassment.
The man was transported to Wildwood Pretrial Facility, where he faced the additional charge of felony refusal of a breath test.
He was held without bail and his snowmobile was seized.
