The Anchorage Police Department is looking for two halfway house inmates who escaped this week.
Jeremy Pardue was discovered missing from the Glenwood Center when a head count was conducted on Friday morning. He was being held for possession of controlled substances, police said in a statement.
He is 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs roughly 170 pounds. He has blond hair and green eyes, but police said it was not clear what he was wearing when he left the halfway house.
William Veitenheimer escaped from the Cordova Center around 6 p.m. on Friday. He was incarcerated under charges related to burglary and resisting arrest.
Veitenheimer was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and jeans, according to police. He is 6 feet tall, weighs 157 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
