ANCHORAGE - More than two years after a beating at the now-shuttered Rumrunner’s Old Towne Bar and Grill, the owners and a bouncer were found guilty of assault Tuesday.
A jury found the then-security guard Murville Lampkin and Rumrunner’s owners AB&M guilty of fourth-degree misdemeanor assault.
Both defendants were found not guilty of felony second-degree assault.
The charges stem from an October 2011 incident in which victim Johnny Brown said he was tied up and beaten by Rumrunner’s bouncers.
The bar has since shut down. Sentencing is scheduled for April 7.
