A 21-year-old man faces multiple charges of assault after he allegedly stabbed two people and beat another person in Emmonak Saturday morning.
Alaska State Troopers were alerted to the attack at 4:35 a.m., according to an online dispatch.
Troopers were told an argument took place in a home in the village, during which Wyatt Redfox allegedly stabbed a 39-year-old victim seven times, troopers said. He then hit and stabbed a 21-year-old woman, cutting her in the face. He also assaulted a 25-year-old victim with his hands.
The 39-year-old victim was flown to Anchorage with serious injuries. Redfox also required treatment for injuries caused when someone struck him with a log “to prevent him from stabbing the first victim even more,” troopers stated.
Troopers said alcohol is believed to be a factor in this case. Redfox faces charges of first-, second- and fourth-degree assault.
