Police in Anchorage are looking for a man who allegedly attacked a teen Thursday evening in an attempted sexual assault.
In a release Friday afternoon, the Anchorage Police Department (APD) requested help from the public to find the man.
Around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, APD was notified that a female teenager was attacked by an unknown man in the Penland Parkway Trailer Court, on the 3200 block of Penland Parkway. Police say the man tried to take the teen’s clothes off, but she fought back.
The man fled the area on foot.
He was described by police as a black man, around average height of six feet tall. The man was said to be wearing a black and gray horizontally striped short-sleeved shirt without a collar, baggy dark jeans, with gray boxers and a black belt.
Police stated they have added additional patrols in the area.
