Anchorage police have arrested a 38-year-old man suspected of two armed robberies.
Police say John Moore also is charged with assault and theft.
A man wearing a bucket hat Thursday walked into a Northway Mall grocery and stole meat costing hundreds of dollars.
When security officers confronted him, the suspect brandished a gun and drove off with the meat.
On Friday, the same man entered a JC Penney store, took clothing and left without paying. The suspect again brandished a handgun and fled in a maroon car.
Police on Saturday arrested Moore, wearing a bucket hat, as he rode a bike on Fifth Avenue near Merrill Field. Police say he was carrying a pellet gun that looks like a firearm.
Online court records do not list an attorney for Moore.
