The Anchorage Police Department says someone has been hospitalized and another person is in custody following a shooting Monday night.
The shooting occurred at the Holiday gas station near the intersection of E. 68th Avenue and Lake Otis Parkway, police said in a statement.
“One victim has been transported to a local hospital in critical condition,” police wrote.
Police took the suspected shooter into custody, but are still asking locals to avoid the area while they investigate the scene.
