Anchorage police took Danerin Curtindale into custody just before 5 p.m., police spokeswoman Renee Oistad confirmed.
Police briefly chased him on foot in the area of 15th Avenue and Gambell Street, eventually catching up and arresting him in the roadway of Gambell Street.
Oistad said there was no further issue reported by arresting officers.

Anchorage police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on assault, kidnapping, robbery and burglary charges.
Police say an arrest warrant was issued Monday for 34-year-old Danerin Brae Curtindale, but they have been unable to locate him.
Court records show Curtindale was arrested in Ketchikan following a raid in 2012 and pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Anyone who knows anything about Curtindale’s location or may have seen him recently, is asked to call Anchorage police at 907-786-9800 or leave an anonymous tip with Anchorage Crime Stoppers.
