Police in Wasilla arrested someone in connection to multiple armed robberies Wednesday morning.
According to the Wasilla Police Department’s Facebook page, a tip from a citizen led to an arrest.
Few details were immediately available. In the post, WPD stated that between 8 and 9 a.m. Wednesday, the Wasilla Carr’s Oaken Keg and at the Tesoro station at mile 4 of Knik Goose Bay Road were robbed.
Photos of the suspect from apparent security footage were shared online by police. The man was driving a newer, white Dodge pickup with tinted windows, according to police.
“He is armed and dangerous,” WPD stated in the post.
In an update early Wednesday afternoon, WPD stated that Alaska State Troopers and the police department arrested a suspect in connection with the crime. No further details were released as the incident is under investigation.
