ANCHORAGE – A 75-year-old North Pole man was arrested Friday for multiple charges of child sex abuse, Alaska State Troopers said.
According to trooper dispatch, Warren Tanner faces six counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor. Troopers said the Alaska Bureau of Investigation – Child Crimes Unit in Fairbanks was contacted Thursday afternoon with a report of a 14-year-old female who had been abused by an adult male for several years.
Investigation led the ABI to Tanner, troopers said, and he was arrested with the help of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Taskforce.
