Police say two men were taken to the hospital after an overnight shooting in Muldoon.
The Anchorage Police Department was called to the area of Muldoon Road and East 12th Court just after 1 a.m.
Further investigation revealed the shooting happened down the street near the 100 block of Muldoon Road, says APD Lt. John McKinnon.
One of the victims was in critical condition, according to APD dispatch Tuesday morning. Because of his condition, homicide detectives were called to investigate the shooting. They closed a portion of Muldoon Road temporarily while they gathered evidence.
Renee Oistad, spokesperson for APD, stated in an afternoon phone conversation that one of the men has since died.
