The Anchorage Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on a felony warrant.
According to an alert from police, 38-year-old Salvador Ruiz-Gonzalez has continued “to contact, harass, and threaten an ex-girlfriend after she obtained a protective order against him.” Police also alleged that he opened a credit card account in her name without her permission.
“Due to Ruiz-Gonzalez’s behavior, there is concern for the safety of his ex-girlfriend,” police wrote.
APD has obtained a felony arrest warrant against Ruiz-Gonzalez for charges of first-degree criminal impersonation, second-degree theft, harassment and violating a domestic violence protective order.
Ruiz-Gonzalez is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 205 pounds, according to police. He has brown eyes and black hair.
