A 22-year-old was arrested for his connection to a December double-homicide.
According to a Monday release from the District Attorney’s office, Savon Wiley was taken into custody Sunday by the Anchorage Police Department. A grand jury indicted him on two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of robbery.
On Dec. 24 Danielle and Christopher Brooks were found dead at their Peterkin Avenue home. The couple’s 5-year-old son was home and told police that “ninja’s” went into their home and killed his parents, police said.
Lamarkus Mann, 22, Jaylyn Franklin, 20, and DeAnthony Harris, 20, were indicted in January for their alleged roles in the murder.
Wiley could face 15 to 99 years in prison if he’s convicted.
