ANCHORAGE – A 33-year-old Matanuska Valley resident has been indicted in two counts of child sexual exploitation, prosecutors said.
In a written statement released Monday, the U.S. district attorney’s office said Daniel Clinton Piaskowski was indicted by a grand jury and arrested Feb. 21. He faces single counts of advertising and distributing child pornography.
According to the indictment, the children depicted ranged from about 6 to 10 years old.
The investigation into the charges against Piaskowski was led by the FBI, prosecutors said, and the bureau is still working to determine whether Piaskowski had “inappropriate contact” with children.
Prosecutors said anyone with relevant information is asked to call the FBI Anchorage field office at 907-276-4441.
