ANCHORAGE – Anchorage police said a man received minor injuries and lost his wallet in an armed robbery Wednesday evening.
According to a statement from the Anchorage Police Department, dispatchers received the call around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, when a man reported he was robbed by four other men on the 300 block of Donna Drive. The victim told police he was walking home when the suspects pulled up in a black SUV, attacked him, held a black handgun to his neck, demanded his wallet and fled the scene.
Police said the victim was treated for minor injuries, and the suspects are described as young, white men wearing blue jeans and black coats. The victim told officers one of the suspects also had a beard or goatee, police said.
The Anchorage Police Department said anyone with information about the attack is asked to call dispatch at 786-8900 or report the crime anonymously to Anchorage Crime Stoppers at 561-STOP.
