Anchorage police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a witness to an April shooting.
According to a Nixle alert sent Tuesday afternoon, Police responded to a call at 2:17 a.m. on April 15 reporting a large physical fight taking place in the parking lot of the Cabin Tavern at 264 Muldoon Road. Two minutes later, police were alerted of shots fired.
Two bystanders — who were not involved in the altercation — were shot, police said. Medics transported an adult male to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. An adult female was also transported to the hospital by friends with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the ankle.
Currently, the case is still pending and no arrests have been made. Police are trying to identify the person in the picture above who is believed to have witnessed the event.
