Police say on June 3 they responded to a call from a passerby who said they say two males in a physical fight in a parking lot at 5701 Lake Otis Parkway. When officers arrived they found 25-year-old Byron Anungazuk-Ongtowasruk sitting next to a male lying in a pool of blood.
Byron was taken into custody without incident. The victim was taken to a local hospital with multiple stab wounds to the torso and is expected to survive, police said.
According to investigators, the men got into a verbal altercation while they were drinking with a friend in a trailer park. When the fight turned physical, Byron picked up a bottle and began stabbing the victim.
Byron was arrested and charged with assault in the first degree.
