Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting that left one man with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Anchorage Police responded to the shooting in the parking lot of the Aurora Village Carrs in the 4 o’clock hour Friday morning.
One victim was located on scene suffering a gunshot wound to the neck. Police say he was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
APD has not taken a suspect into custody.
The incident comes just weeks after a Carrs employee was shot in the leg twice, allegedly by an 18-year-old who was amongst a group of unruly teens asked to leave the store.
