No foul play is suspected in the death of a 20-year-old inmate found at the Anchorage Correctional Center last week, Alaska State Troopers said.
According to trooper dispatch, former California resident Davon Mosley was discovered “alone and unresponsive” in his cell around 1:45 p.m. Friday. Efforts to revive him failed, troopers said, and he was later pronounced dead.
The State Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of his body, troopers said, and next-of-kin have been notified.
