Update: Haily Ibarra, 20, turned herself in at 3:30 p.m., police said.
Anchorage police are asking for public help locating a suspect in a hit-and-run that left a female victim with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday night.
According to a written statement from the Anchorage Police Department, 20-year-old Haily Ibarra was identified as the driver in the incident that happened on the 5900 block of Mego Street just after 10 p.m. Police said the female victim was reportedly hanging on the passenger side door of the truck when Ibarra drove off, dragging the victim alongside the vehicle.
A warrant has been issued for Ibarra’s arrest, police said, and anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 907-786-8900.
