Authorities seized thousands of dollars worth of marijuana plants in an Anchorage home earlier this month.
On July 10, investigators executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation and discovered 79 live plants, processed pot and more than $5,000 cash in a home off of West 71st Court, according to Alaska State Troopers. The cash is believed to be profits of a clandestine drug operation.
AST said a suspect has been identified and charges are expected. The estimated street value of all the pot is $158,000.
