A grand jury has indicted a Wasilla man for growing 50 pot plants in his home.
Todd M. Bergeron, 50, was arrested earlier this month when Alaska State Troopers and investigators served a search warrant on his home, according to AST dispatch.
Authorities found he had a 50-plant commercial marijuana grow and that he tried to destroy physical evidence as troopers were obtaining the search warrant.
On Thursday, Bergeron was indicted for three counts of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and one count of tampering with physical evidence, troopers said. He was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $50,000, plus a third-party custodian.
