A 36-year-old man was indicted Friday for allegedly sexually abusing a teenage client this summer.
Marvin Colbert of Anchorage was indicted for second-degree sexual abuse, the Alaska Department of Law said in a statement. Colbert provided in-home personal training services to the teen and her mother. After a July training session, the mom left Colbert alone with her daughter, and Colbert is alleged to have sexually abused the girl then.
Colbert was arrested July 26, but has been on bail release since Aug. 13, the DOL statement said. He faces a five- to 15-year sentence if convicted. He’s scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 16.
