Police responded to two separate stabbing incidents in Anchorage on Sunday. Both were domestic violence-related, police say.
The first occurred just after midnight at Taku Lake Park in South Anchorage. Police arrested Alison DelaRosa after she stabbed her boyfriend.
The victim was transported to the hospital. The status of his condition is unknown at this time, police say.
The 22-year-old girlfriend was charged with first-degree assault, says APD spokeswoman Anita Shell.
The second domestic violence incident occurred just before 5 p.m. at an apartment complex located at Cordell Circle. Neighbors say they’d heard the couple arguing for most of the day.
The male “half-stabbed” the female in the arm inside the residence, Shell says.
Police say the woman’s injuries are not life-threatening. The man is in currently in custody.
