Alaska State Troopers are investigating a Wasilla burglary in which about 30 firearms and a safe were reportedly stolen.
Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., troopers responded to an after-the-fact burglary at a home on South Morgan Drive in Wasilla, according to an online dispatch posted Thursday.
A Sentry safe containing “personal documents and a large sum of cash” were reported missing, along with the guns. The total value of the items is estimated at $50,000.
AST spokeswoman Megan Peters said Thursday afternoon that no other information regarding the break-in was available.
