A Healy man was arrested Friday night after he allegedly held a gun to his girlfriend’s head and then fired multiple rounds at her through a wall as she fled his house, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers were notified of the incident at 6:42 p.m. and responded to the home on Graphite Lane in Healy, an online dispatch explained. With the assistance of Denali Park Rangers, they arrested the suspect, 50-year-old Scott Arbuckle.
The dispatch said alcohol was a factor in the assault.
Arbuckle faces charges of first-degree attempted murder, third- and fourth-degree assault, second- and fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to troopers. He was booked at the Fairbanks Correctional Center.
