Alaska State Troopers are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Wasilla gas station convenience store early Friday morning while armed with a baseball bat.
Troopers say the man forced a clerk to empty the cash register into a garbage bag.
The suspect fled with just $24.59.
Troopers and Wasilla police took calls on the robbery shortly after 2:30 a.m.
The man entered the Tesoro store on Knik-Goose Bay Road at Fairview Loop. He was wearing a black, hooded sweat shirt and a black mask with a white skull image.
After ordering the clerk to fill the white, plastic garbage bag, he fled on foot.
The clerk was not injured.
Troopers are asking the public for tips in the case.
