ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage man charged with stabbing his neighbor to death in 2011 was found guilty of murder Wednesday.
According to the district attorney’s office, Joshua Wagner was found guilty of second-degree murder for the death of his neighbor, 34-year-old Norman George Dennis.
Wagner told police he was defending himself against Dennis when he stabbed him nine times inside of his neighbor’s garage on Oct. 28, 2011.
After two weeks of testimony, the case was submitted to a jury last Thursday. On Wednesday, the jury returned a verdict of guilty.
Wagner is schedule to be sentenced on July 11.
