A 29-year-old man was killed in a Fairview shootout early Wednesday, according to Anchorage police.
In a release from the Anchorage Police Department, the agency said they responded to Nelchina Street and Eighth Avenue at 1:28 a.m.
“Initial indications are that several individuals from two different vehicles got into some type of altercation. During the incident several shots were fired and one adult from each vehicle suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to the hospital.”
Corbin James Carltikoff was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The other person suffered non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made.
