Anchorage Police are investigating an overnight shooting in which a 14-year-old boy was shot.
Around 1:20 Wednesday morning, a vehicle traveling northbound on Boniface Parkway approached the intersection at Debarr Road. An unknown vehicle pulled up along the left-side of the car, police say, and fired at least one shot into the victim vehicle before speeding away.
Inside the victim vehicle were two adults and three minors, of which only a 14-year-old boy sustained a gunshot wound. He was immediately driven to the hospital where he went into emergency surgery. His condition and identity are not known.
